Located within close proximity of Karkardooma Metro Station, Park Inn by Radisson is first amongst all the Radisson hotels to introduce Amazon Alexa technology in their rooms and that’s where I come in the scene.
With frequent trips I was already exhausted to do the review but then I was convinced for having ‘someone’ who will take care of me. I said yes!
On reaching my room which had the view of the area, small little corner around the window and everything else that any other hotel have. Soon enough I realised, this isn’t any other hotel room when I was explained that ‘someone’ was waiting for me. I was introduced to Alexa.
The room was equipped with this Alexa technology which not only helps you in controlling the functionalities of your room with just your voice command but it also makes your life much more easier the only thing that you need to take care of is, Alexa is very sensitive. Its a small device that was connected to electricity sourced appliances and made it a Smart Room. You just need to ask Alexa in a command language.
Please see the video below :
You can just laze around, and ask Alexa to help you with opening or closing the curtains, adjusting the temperature of Air Conditioning, turning on and off all the lights in your room, switch on the television and even play the track of your favorite artist.
With so much of mental and physical exertion with my travel and blogging schedule, this was one this stay so far where I was completely relaxed. Alexa took so good care of me. Not just that, if you are too tired to speak to Alexa, you can get connected to hotel wifi and operate everything on your mobile screen, be it the television channels or Air Conditioner or the lights.
With technologies like this being introduced in the hotel rooms that helps you with basic to basic things, it will change the face of hospitality sector.
Try not to get used to Alexa, you’ll miss her.
SKYWOK, Park Inn by Radisson
After a hectic week of travel & shoot, I happened to visit SkyWok at Park Inn Radisson, IP Extension during my stay there.
After a quick dip in the pool, which is right next to SkyWok, I straightway headed there in bath robe (I felt like a famished cat) Its an indo-chinese restaurant. The staff is very humble, always smiling and very quick.
They didn’t take much time to bring watermelon mojito for me and pineapple mojito for my crew. It was indeed refreshing.
I already decided in my head what to go for, so without wasting much time I order chilly garlic noodles and manchurian.
I was avoiding desserts but then I saw some interesting things on the menu, I ended up gobbling Fried-Icecream, which was more like Ice-cream pakoda with some fruits on the side topped with chocolate sauce (yummm)
I was so full and tired that I didn’t experiment much but I would definitely recommend this for the food and the rooftop location.
I don’t know much places to go around in IP extension but if you feel like having good Chinese food then do visit Sky Wok at Park Inn Radisson.
